ベネチアンタワーは、ドゥラスで最も興味深く美しい歴史的防御建造物の1つです。ドゥラスのビザンチン時代の要塞に欠かせない存在で、第一級文化財に指定されています。かつてはアドリア海の西海岸沿いで最も強力な防衛施設の一つとされていました。現在の要塞のルーツは、ドゥラス（古代デュラキウム）出身のビザンチン皇帝アナスタシウス1世（491～518）の初期の建設作業にまでさかのぼります。15世紀頃にビザンチン帝国の塔の遺跡の上に建てられたベネチアンタワーは、街を海から守るために大砲で要塞化されました。砲兵を装備するように特別に設計されたこの塔は、周辺地域を監視するための重要な観測点でした。2022年から2023年にかけて、ベネチアンタワーは改装され、アルバニア初のヘリテージ・インタープリテーション・センターに生まれ変わりました。現在では、訪問者に最先端のデジタルツールやマルチメディアツールを使って歴史的な出来事や場所を探索する機会を提供しています。これらには、VRヘッドセット、オーディオガイド、ドーム型マルチメディアプロジェクションなどのアクティビティが含まれ、エンターテイメントと街の古代史をより深く知ることができます。

これはバルカン半島で最大かつ最も重要な円形劇場で、西暦1世紀初頭に建てられました。アルバニアで唯一の、機能的、構造的な建築的特徴が際立っています。1966年に組織的な発掘調査が開始され、現在までに記念碑の半分が発掘されています。円形劇場は街の中心にあり、西側の洞窟は丘の中腹に、反対側は平地からそびえ立っています。円形劇場は直径136メートルの楕円形です。洞窟の底から測った高さは20メートルです。収容人数は15,000人から20,000人の間でした。これらの層は白いスラブで覆われていました。グラディエーターはアリーナで戦った。建設面では、円形劇場の洞窟は、建物全体を囲む石造りの丸天井のシステムに依存していました。この円形劇場の壮大さと技術的成果は、西暦初頭にドゥラス市が繁栄していたことを証明しています。4世紀以降、社会的、経済的変化を経て、ドゥラス円形劇場はその機能を失いました。そのギャラリーの1つには、10世紀にビザンチン様式の礼拝堂が建てられ、その壁には様々な人物が描かれたモザイクが飾られていました。
