Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach has a good mix of mid-week corporate and Govt. Plus weekend leisure transient and SMERF business. University of North Carolina Wilmington is a big demand generator - group and transient. Business and leisure. New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a regional medical center that accounts for a large amount of corporate transient demand. Best location in Wilmington. Near the beach but also convenient to historic downtown Wilmington. Numerous shops and restaurants are nearby. New all-suite hotel located in the premiere leisure and corporate area of Wilmington. Hotel is adjacent to The Forum shops, across from Mayfaire Town Center and near Wrightsville Beach. Numerous local and national chain restaurants nearby. First new hotel in the Mayfaire /Eastwood corridor in 5+ years. Wrightsville Beach and historic downtown riverfront Wilmington are major draws. In 2014 Wilmington was voted Best American Riverfront. Chosen by the readers of USA Today and 10Best.
