西九龍文化区にあるM+ビルは、近代と現代の視覚文化を展示する世界最大級の博物館です。ビクトリア・ハーバーを見下ろす九龍の最南端に位置し、香港で最も象徴的なランドマークのひとつであり、その建築形態は記念碑的であると同時に、都市景観の中での位置という点では根本的に開放的な存在でもあります。ヘルツォーク&ド・ムーロンがTFP FarrellsおよびArupの協力を得て設計したこの建物は、表彰台と細長い塔から構成され、上下逆さまの「T」の形に溶け込んでいます。地上にある広々としたポディウムカンチレバーには、33のギャラリーにまたがる17,000平方メートルの展示スペースがあります。訪問者は地上階と低層階のさまざまな場所から美術館に入ることができるため、屋内と屋外のエリアが連続して利用できるアクセス性の高い空間となっています。M+では、社外雇い主が企業ミーティング、優雅な宴会、親密なレセプションまで、さまざまなプライベートイベントを開催できます。
