Englemere, a former Royal residence, is a beautifully preserved Victorian house which retains many original features including a magnificent oak tree that dates from the time of Henry VIII. Set in 12 acres of beautiful private landscaped gardens and grounds, it is the perfect venue for all occasions. Our dedicated team provides a wide choice of imaginative menus coupled with excellent service to ensure your function is a great success. We have 7 meeting rooms all with natural daylight, free Wi-Fi and black-out facilities that can accommodate up to 220 delegates, perfect for hosting a variety of events including conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses, and Christmas parties. Ground floor rooms have access to the sun terrace overlooking the gardens, ideal for lunch in the summer months. The grounds are also available for organising fun days, marquee events and summer balls. Team building activities including human table football, laser clay pigeon shooting, and geese herding can also be arranged onsite. We also have tennis courts on site. Secluded and elegant, Englemere is also the ideal venue for weddings and the house and grounds can be booked for exclusive use, providing you with an extra special, unforgettable day. Join us during Royal Ascot Week avoiding all the crowds, and relaxing in the grounds before experiencing the thrill of the races. Collect your racing paper and enjoy pre-race drinks, before being shown to your reserved table for a delicious Summer Lunch. Stroll or take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the nearby racecourse. Our grounds are also open for picnic and parking with both shaded and open areas to choose from. Englemere can provide chilled Champagne, and other beverages of your choice to complement your picnic when pre-booked. Englemere is within easy reach of Heathrow, the M3, M4 and M25 motorways or by train from Ascot Station with direct lines to London Waterloo. There is also ample free parking on site.
