Hotel la Terrazza, nestled in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity among the olive groves of Assisi's hills, is located only 800 meters from the historical centre of the city and near to the tourist sports complex. Thanks to its position, which looks over the green Umbria valley, the mornings here are soft and sweet, and the sunsets give the building's stones, the so-called "pietra rosa" of Mount Subasio, back their beautiful natural red colour with all the magic of an ancient poem.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
