The Gare du Nord, the Bahnhof für Neue Musik, is the first experimental music centre in Switzerland. Located in the Badischer Bahnhof in Basel, it provides a home and a showcase for the very lively and productive contemporary music scene in Switzerland and the trinational region of Basel, Freiburg im Breisgau and Strasbourg. The atmospheric mix of regular cultural activities and multi-purpose infrastructure also provides space for private events. Both rooms, the “Bar du Nord” and the “Gare du Nord”, can be temporarily rented. They are perfect places for companies and private users who like their guests to enjoy a special atmosphere, one of history and good taste. Be it corporate events, conferences, weddings or birthdays – the range is wide and the rooms are convertible: La gare est à vous!.
