The four-star Rila Hotel is just 50 min. drive from Sofia International Airport, situated in the heart of the highest mountain in Bulgaria - Rila (2925 m), among the stunning century old pine tree forest of Borovets resort. With its close proximity to the ski slopes (the classic ski-in/ski-out location), hotel Rila is the most impressive property in Borovets. The hotel provides the perfect mix between business and leisure experience during any season. After a full renovation of all meeting space, public areas and SPA center finished in 2019, the Rila Hotel welcomes all its guests with a brand new design and a modern alpine-style ambiance. The new conference and events center features 9 meeting rooms with a total capacity of up to 1200-seated guests.

Borovets climbing & mountaineering is one of the newest summer outdoor activities in Borovets resort. We are glad to inform you that the resort is offering rock climbing activities and alpinism, variety of touristic programs, technical traverses, via ferratas and more.
The people behind Borovets climbing & mountaineering are Martin Marovski & Victor Varoshkin – two of the best known Bulgarian climbing professionals, also known as managers of “Climbing and alpinism school”.

Created in 2010 and redesigned in 2021-2022 by the world-famous biker Jordi Bago “Borovets Mountain Bike Park” has some 11 marked and practicable trails with a total length over 44 km. and different levels of difficulty. This year three new trails have been added, among them the first in Bulgaria Air Line, designed and executed by Jordi Bago, the other two are suitable for beginners and family cycling rides.
The biking trails in “Borovets Mountain Bike Park” are serviced on a daily basis by a professional team that takes care of their grooming, maintenance and onsite marking.
