The JW Marriott Charlotte opened as a new property in August 2021. As the first JW in the Carolinas, the hotel offers upscale luxury amenities for an authentic Queen City experience. The 22 story building includes 381 guest rooms with 34 suites and amazing city views from all angles. Even with a new property, we’re even more proud of our exceptional team. According to Marriott International's Event Satisfaction Survey (ESS), the JW Marriott Charlotte was ranked #2 among all JW hotels in North America in 2023 (based upon event delivery, event execution, and guest’s intent to recommend the property)! Onsite Outlets & Amenities: • Dean's Italian Steakhouse features prime steaks and entrees with Italian expression, offering a unique dining experience. • Caroline's Oyster Bar celebrates Coastal Carolina charm with oysters at the raw bar and a selection of local craft beers. • Aura Rooftop, located on the 5th floor, presents primetime city views and refreshing frozen cocktails, perfect for enjoying warm southern days. • Spa by JW, located on the 2nd floor, allows guests to unwind and indulge in relaxation and rejuvenation rituals, featuring five treatment rooms including a couples' suite, and relaxation room. • The Executive Lounge is a dedicated space that is designed to provide an elevated level of comfort and convenience for the hotel's most loyal guests. Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the JW Marriott Charlotte is a quick 7 miles (or about 12 minutes) from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The hotel is also located less than a block from the Charlotte Lynx Blue Line which runs north/south through the Queen City. If driving, the hotel is just off of I-277 and easy to access off the interstate.
