Relais Il Falconiere & Spa is a 4 star hotel in Cortona. It offers an oasis of peace & tranquility with 12 hectares of landscaped gardens, vineyards and olive groves, 2 swimming pools and a health spa. This is a tranquil Tuscan haven full of "Courtesy, Charm, Character, Calm, and Cuisine". It is the ideal place to stay for those who love the countryside in its every aspect. The 22 rooms and suites are elegantly furnished, each unique in colour and decor and reflecting the classic, refined style of important Tuscan homes. The restaurant is housed in the old lemon house with a glass and wrought-iron conservatory, overlooking the outside dining terrace with its ancient fishpond and rose-clad pergola. The unique and romantic ambience of an old Tuscan home is matched by a dreamlike atmosphere, perfect for a very intimate and exclusive reception. The City Hall civic room, covered with frescoes, is overlooking the main square and can be an interesting alternative to a church. It is possible to arrange a religious ceremony or a blessing in the private crape. In the summertime, the hotel offers the beautiful terrace or the main room of the restaurant for a special private party or a wedding.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
