当会場について

Ripagrande Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in the heart of the historical centre of Ferrara, declared as the "Heritage of mankind" in 1995 by UNESCO. It is within easy reach of the Cathedral and the Estensi family's castle. It is situated in a quiet pedestrian area to which the guest may gain access in any event. The hotel has forty rooms, of which 20 are Junior Suites, furnished mainly in a pleasant classic style and endowed with the most modern of comforts. The restaurant offers, in a cosy and refined atmosphere, the best of typical local and regional dishes. Two magnificent inner Renaissance courtyards complete the setting and may be used for outdoor banquets and meals. The hotel is furthermore equipped for small and medium sized meetings and may propose guided sightseeing tours around Ferrara and surroundings.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
