You're surrounded by Renaissance Florence, you look around and see the magnificent, impressive Palazzo del Bargello, leave your bags in the hall and and walk out on Via del Proconsolo, to the right you glimpse Piazza della Signoria, to the left the stirring Piazza del Duomo. A completely renovated ancient building, with 103 rooms furnished with a special focus on the materials and colors and equipped with all amenities. The difference in room types is not due to dimensions but rather to the different quality of the furnishings and finishes the perfect harmony between traditional and modern styles makes Grand Hotel Cavour an ideal spot for an unforgettable stay in the wonderful city of Florence. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
