当会場について

Cortes House is an exclusive use property which you rent in its entirety for the duration of your stay, be that for a day, a weekend or a week. We open our doors to anybody looking for a venue which 'escapes the ordinary' from weddings and hen/stag parties to birthdays and anniversaries to corporate days and team-building events. Once you hire out the house it is yours for the weekend and you can do whatever you want - provided it comes back to us in the same state it was given! Cortes has 12 bedrooms, 10 in the main house and 2 on the lower ground floor. The 2 on the lower ground floor are hired out on a requirement basis. The main house sleeps 24 guests and the additional rooms sleep 6, so you can accommodate a total of 30 guests at one time - we do have a couple of travel cots and Z-beds for smaller guests should a bit of extra space be needed. For larger events, we can seat up to 65 guests in the main dining room or living room - with this maximum capacity we do have specific layouts of dining furniture to ensure everyone fits comfortably. Alternatively, you can opt for a marquee in the secret garden to increase attendance to 120.

Climb aboard our classic yacht and take in Seattle’s waterfront views of beautiful Lake Union and adjoining waterways. You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout. The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. The forward stateroom offers double twin-size beds in a v-berth layout. The Rainbird is centrally located, close to downtown Seattle, Lake Union, U of W, and Lake Washington.
