Important Things To Know: Due to the custom nature of the vehicles: Weight limit is 250 pounds per person, weight limit for 2 people in the same vehicle is 400 pounds (no exceptions). No prior experience is needed. Guests will receive training operating the mini-car and driving rules for the road. Each vehicle seats 2 people. All drivers must be 21 or over with a valid drivers license (international drivers license accepted). All passengers must be 6 years or older. If both people are 21 with a valid drivers license they can switch driving anytime. Maximum height is 6’3” when riding with a passenger. Price per reservation is for 2 people in the same vehicle. They built the first Grand Canyon Inn and Restaurant (as well as a service station) in a small town between Red Lake and the Grand Canyon.In 1977 the family moved and built the current Grand Canyon Motel in Valle. In 1981 they built the first 33 rooms of The Grand Canyon Inn and Restaurant. Expansions continued with two new wings and a swimming pool in the mid 1990s. Today the Grand Canyon Inn & Motel has 101 rooms. The family also offers water and trash services to the region. As you might imagine, it takes some effort to run such a large company in this rural area.
