ニューデリーの中心には、高さ42mのインド門があります。これは、交差点の真ん中にある「凱旋門」のようなアーチです。フランスのものとほぼ同じで、第一次世界大戦中にイギリス軍のために戦って命を落とした7万人のインド兵を記念するものです。この記念碑には、1919年のアフガニスタン戦争で北西辺境で殺された13,516人以上のイギリス人とインド人の兵士の名前が記されています。夕暮れ時には、インド門は劇的に投光照明に照らされ、近くの噴水は色とりどりのライトで美しく飾られます。インド門はラージパスの一端にあり、その周辺は一般に「インド門」と呼ばれています。
