It is a stylish Victorian residence offering classical and elegant interiors, situated in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate and located a short drive from Harrogate Registry Office, Christ Church on the Stray and St John’s Church. The Ascot restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents. Renowned for our quality of service and friendly atmosphere, the staff here at Ascot House will ensure that you and your guests have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the day's celebrations. We are licensed for ceremonies in the King's Room or for smaller ceremonies we can offer the Ascot Restaurant. We are licensed for both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can offer both daytime weddings and exclusive use of the hotel.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
