The Black Mountain Lodge is a delightful small family-run Guesthouse and restaurant, situated at the foothills of the Black Mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park. You are welcome to join us for as long or as short as you like, we cater for individuals, couples, parties, families and corporate groups, offering everything from economy accommodation through to our deluxe rooms. And no matter the purpose of your visit, you can end your day at this little retreat where you can sit back and unwind and as you do, take a look outside, you just might see the stars.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
