The Isla Bella Beach Resort, with nearly 1 mile of shoreline, features199 luxury guest rooms and suites with a combination of 102 two bedroom / 2 bath luxury guest rooms (600-1,100 sq. ft.) combinable to offer up to 4 bedrooms, plus 97 luxury guest rooms (400-650 sq. ft.) Bedroom configurations are King, King/King and Queen/Queen accommodations. Isla Bella offers the finest amenities, furnishings, and bespoke service of any resort in the Keys. We capture the ethos of the tropics and the Florida Keys while fulfilling and gratifying the needs of today’s affluent luxury traveler. All of the spacious rooms/suites (400-1,500 sq. ft.) have 9 foot ceilings, crown molding, 5 fixture bathrooms, and ocean views from balconies or patios averaging 80-120 sq. ft. Isla Bella features 3 restaurants, 3 bars, room service, 5 swimming pools (heated and chilled), full service spa, marketplace, fitness center, private beach, marina, a conference center and an Oceanside event lawn for weddings and other memorable events. Recreational facilities includes watersports, fishing, scuba, diving from our on site Marina, croquet and bocce courts, life size Chess Boards, and a retail outlet and marketplace. Unique to the resort, we have a therapeutic landscape for self-reflection serving the holistic function of bringing balance into one’s life. Isla Bella Beach Resort offers both personal and virtual guest and concierge services through cutting edge technology provided by partners such as InnSpire™ and other high tech companies. For those that prefer the traditional way, the resort offers a team of guest service associates to take care of their every wish. From Miami International Airport (MIA) take toll 836 West to US1 / Overseas Highway, to Mile Marker 47, MM47, turn left on Knights Key Boulevard. For GPS enter "1 Knights Key Boulevard, Marathon, FL" Approximately 115 mile. From Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) take I-595 W to exit 8-9A-9B to Florida Turnpike South. Florida Turnpike South will turn into US1 Overseas Highway in Homestead, FL, continue to Mile Marker 47 MM47 and turn left on Knights Key Boulevard. For GPS enter "1 Knights Key Boulevard, Marathon, FL" Approximately 143 miles.

Inside the Museum, see a 600-year-old dugout canoe, remnants of pirate ships and a simulated coral reef cave. Learn about the native Keys inhabitants, the early explorers, the pioneers and developers of the "Railroad That Died at Sea". See the Bellarmine jug (circa 1580), a shipwreck artifact that was found in 1980 in near-perfect condition in the Atlantic Ocean off the Florida Keys. Guests are invited to take a guided educational tour of the hospital facilities and the sea turtle rehabilitation area. This educational experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and provides a presentation on sea turtles as well as a behind the scenes look at the hospital facilities and rehabilitation area. Chris Thomas Music

Chris has been performing music professionally for more than 25 years all over the east coast. Originally from the New York/New Jersey area, he attended and earned a masters degree in music from New York University. After years of performing with regional cover bands in the northeast and national acts such as Gary US Bonds, Chris re-located to Key West in 2009. He began performing solo as well as with duos and bands at world famous Key West venues such as Sloppy Joe’s, Margaritaville, Irish Kevin’s, Hogs Breath Saloon, and the Green Parrot. He has been performing at corporat events in South Florida and the Bahamas since 2010.

Hello! Welcome to the Marathon Mermaid! Having a Marathon Florida Boat Tour company has been a dream of John and Angela’s for years, and now is finally a reality! John, born and raised in Marathon, and Angela, a “transplant” from California, met in 2015, when Angela was a scuba instructor at the marina where John owned his rental boat business. Angela had dreamed of owning her own charter boat for years since she became a professional scuba diver and John wanted to be the person to make that dream come true with his skills and knowledge of boats. Skip forward a few years and they started to work on this dream, and that is where the “Marathon Mermaid” was born. Built from the ground up, the “Marathon Mermaid” is truly a one of a kind boat, the only one like it in the world. Together, John and Angela put both of their ideas together to create this beautiful and unique vessel.
