Sturdy's Castle Country Inn, located between the West Oxfordshire villages of Tackley and Kidlington and conveniently located near to Woodstock, can not only offer its visitors comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation and quality cuisine in its 80 seat restaurant, but also a friendly and relaxing bar lounge in which to enjoy a drink with friends and family. Our function room is for hire, together with our own Skittle Alley, can cater for parties of all sizes including weddings, christenings & birthday parties etc. With ample on-site car parking facilities, Sturdy’s Castle nr Woodstock, Oxfordshire is the perfect venue for both business meetings and conferences. We are always on hand and would be delighted to discuss the details of your event, to ensure that our facilities meet with your expectations and exacting requirements. Sturdys Castle bed & breakfast accommodation, just between the villages of Tackley & Kidlington, and conveniently close to Woodstock offers a superb place to stay. The accommodation rooms are conveniently situated separate from the main building to ensure that you get that all-important good night's sleep. All 20 of the en suite rooms have been tastefully decorated and fitted throughout with quality furnishings.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
