Waldhof Hotel a 4-star superior hotel which is located in the quiet locality of Vollan, near Merano, is a small hideaway in a fabulous natural setting. It is located on the outer edge of Vollan, outside the gates of Merano, in the heart of the beloved Merano region surrounded by forests, meadows, hills and mountains. The hotel offers 16 new furnished and comfortable rooms for the guests with much more facilities. The new Wintergarden Restaurant in our usually elegant style offers a romantic panorama view of the Mayenburg and serving delicious cuisines. Welcome to the hotel and enjoy your pleasant stay with us.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
