Located in the heart of San Isidro, is one of the most emblematic and beautiful in this district. This beautiful park is surrounded by olive trees, which are over 1500 in total. Now at days has become the place of meeting of families, friends, couples and even for brand-new husbands that lend themselves to ride after marriage. The Park has large green areas, a swimming pool and a small lake. One of the main hotels of city, as well as offices, commercial, important establishments and avenues. It was declared a national monument in December 1959 by the then existing National Institute of culture (INC). This distinction was due to keep of its olive trees, their age and the special forest development.
The Park has a Bird Observatory, since in it the more varied micro systems of birds of Lima is nested: the Rabiblanca, the Cuculi, Yellow-billed Tortolita, the Turtupilín, buttercup and the violinist; in other species that inhabitthe Park are the hip Silbadora, Eur and American sparrows.

The Huaca Huallamarca is the most important archaeological monument in San Isidro. Huallamarca name derives from the quechua word "brand" which means, Shire or town and Hualla was the nameof a tribe.
When the Incas in the 15th century came to the coast, they found the Lima Valley populated by various tribesone of these tribes was the Huallas. Los Huallas used the place to bury their dead, then, probably, thefarmland should be very useful to serve other purposes that were not agricultural.
The testimonies found in the tombs of the Huaca Huallamarca comprise a period of time that goes from the 6th century A.d. until the advent of the incas in the 15th century.

During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico.
In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.
