In August of 2016, chef Laurel Burleson launched the Ugly Apple Food Cart. She has been cooking in professional kitchens since high school and has a degree in hospitality management. After cooking for several years around Chicago and Madison, she saw how much was going to waste of this fantastic Midwestern produce. She envisioned owning a cafe that focused on delicious local produce. Hence, the Ugly Apple was born. Like the story of the Ugly Duckling, the Ugly Apple might not be bought at market but can still make a beautiful fritter. We lifted off in November of 2016 and love serving the community of Madison, Wisconsin with the cart and with “Breakfast All Day” catering! Give us a call to discuss your upcoming event!

Cancellation Schedule 0-30 day’s 100% payment of total revenue 31-60 days 75% payment of total revenue 61-180 days 25% payment of total revenue Reductions in Lodging Room Block: 60 days or greater prior to arrival, you have an allowance to reduce up to 20% of your total lodging room block without penalty. Reductions in excess of 20% of your total lodging room block will be charged the appropriate percentage when the reduction occurs and based upon the cancellation schedule listed above. If the Fluno Center is able to sell the space and/or lodging rooms, the group will not be responsible for payment.
