In the heart of Marquises de Gregorio family estate rises the “Sirignano Wine Resort”. This holiday farm bears the name of the ancient Sirignano countryside "Baglio" or as it is known in local Sicilian dialect “Bagghiu”. A Baglio is a characteristic building of feudal Sicily which consists of a farm with a large courtyard inside where the landowners and the farmers once lived. 10 rooms rise from the ancient restructured farmhouses; each one is named and painted based on one of the grape varieties cultivated on the Marchesi de Gregorio estate. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and in total there are 30 beds available. In addition, it houses yellow rooms as well. The Resort has its own restaurant, which is open to the public. Our kitchen features traditional recipes with a modern finish. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 110 guests; the furniture style is an elegant country and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is an ideal location for celebrations and events. In the past we have hosted the receptions for weddings, baptisms, birthday parties, family reunions, anniversaries, first communions, confirmations, etc.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
