Hotel Villa Capodimonte, realized in the 1995 in Naples, is situated in on the hill where King Charles III of Borbone chose to build his magnificent 18th century palace set in a botanical park, today a famous art gallery containing a wealth of works of art of unequaled beauty. Hotel Villa Capodimonte, boasting a splendid view of the gulf of Naples, stands next to the 19th century Torre del Palasciano, the Florentine styled dwelling of the illustrious surgeon of the Red Cross, and is only a short walk away from the 19th century Osservatorio Astronomico. The Hotel has 56 rooms, a well equipped meeting center with several congress halls available to host business meetings and corporate events. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
