The Oxenham Arms is a magnificent 12th century coaching inn built around the famous South Zeal Menhir Standing Stone, set in its own monastery gardens is located in one of Devon’s prettiest villages on the edge of Dartmoor and only 25 mins from the hub of Exeter and just 5 mins the well-travelled A30 to Plymouth and Cornwall. Inside the granite Tudor porch way, you are immediately spoilt for choice. Do you turn left into the 1477 Bar, a haven of rustic charm with roaring log fire and where the selection of real ales and wines can tempt even the most traditional of drinkers or right, into the oak dining room.
