当会場について

Antica Dimora Leones, originating from the expertise restructuring of an 1800’s Aristocratic palazzo, is a maison de charme situated on the Pisan hills, in the Middle Ages historical quarter of Palaia, just a few kilometres from Volterra and San Miniato. The thirteen rooms are furnished with period furniture, valuable pieces of antiques among which antique prints and paintings; while on the ceiling and walls, original frescos dating back to the 1800’s can still be admired. In addition, it also offers a meeting hall. The Hall is capable of hosting courses or small conventions as well.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
