Hotel Engel is a 4 star hotel featuring traditional furnished rooms which have all been enriched by lovely details. It is a charming, South Tyrolean Hotel, peacefully located at the centre of Sluderno, in the hearth of Val Venosta. Sluderno however, also represents the perfect starting point for walks and excursions, mountain bike tours as well as different winter activities. Hotel Engel is also a South Tyrolean Sport Hotel which daily organises several excursions, ski runs, and many other sport activities. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
