Residence Podere Olmo is located near San Rocco a Pilli, a small town only five minutes away from Siena, immersed in the Senese countryside. Housed within an ancient Podere (Estate) which has been remodelled by closely following the original features of the typical Tuscan farmhouse and by using all the old materials, from beams to ceiling trusses, to bricks and hand-made terracotta of outdoor floors. Residence Podere Olmo offers an ideal position from which to access the many different areas of special interest and the classical, personal or alternative itineraries to discover centres of art and culture, as well as landscapes and natural settings.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
