The main building of Hotel Paganelli, the former convent of the Benedictine nuns of San Zaccaria, is located in a privileged position and enjoys a picturesque view of the Bacino di San Marco. In fact, they are situated right opposite the island of San Giorgio and just a short walk away from Piazza San Marco. Hotel Paganelli is easily accessible by public transport from all directions, certainly the ideal destination for anyone visiting such a diverse and unique city for the first time, albeit also an essential place for returning visitors wishing to experience the city from a privileged location. There are four exclusive double rooms in the Riva degli Schiavoni building located in one of the most evocative areas of Venice. The deco style furnishings, where the contrasting colours of the furniture, the black cornices, and the thuja burl golden hues are pleasantly lightened and softened by the shades of the fabrics, creates a sophisticated and simultaneously relaxing atmosphere.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
