当会場について

Grand Hotel Angiolieri is a new five star hotel laid down on a peak overlooking the sea, along the splendid Sorrento Coast. The leading issue of our house is: luxury, charm and “savoir-vivre”. The House itself has been redecorated with attention and competence, between 1998 and 2005. All 37 rooms and suites are warmly furnished, all with characteristic floors in Vietri’s Majolica. Once entered the hotel, you will be impressed by the supreme feeling of peace and silence. Our aim is to preserve the spirit of a “Private House”, with a profound sense of hospitality. Sober organized, the hotel is able to welcome the guest as a family friend, offering all attentions and opening the innermost of our house.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
