About us

Hotel Mur enjoys an excellent location in the very heart of Jaca, in front of the Citadel, near the Cathedral and the Old Quarter. Our hotel has 80 rooms equipped with heating, full bathroom, telephone and 32" plasma TV with international channels. After several refurbishments, Hotel Mur has special rooms (suite-like) equipped with jacuzzi, sauna, hot tub, gym and panoramic television. The hundred-year-old Hotel Mur opened its doors in 1875. This emblematic building is proud of having accommodated distinguished guests such as Alfonso XIII and the Queen Victoria Eugenia, as well as the present king of Spain, His Majesty Juan Carlos I. Our hotel has also accommodated important artistic, political and cultural figures, such as Joaquín Costa, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Joaquín Sorolla, Miguel de Unamuno, Ramón María del Valle-Inclán, Manuel Azaña, José Ortega y Gasset, Pío Baroja or Antonio Machado, among others, as well as a huge number of visitors who continue to lend an air of distinction to the hotel.
