Puisto on nimetty Indonesian viimeisen pääministerin Djuanda Kartawidjajan mukaan. Se sijaitsee Kampung Pakarissa, Ciburial Village, Cimenyanin alueella. Sen korkeus vaihtelee välillä 770-1330 metriä merenpinnan yläpuolella. Sen hedelmällisessä maaperässä on noin 2500 kasvilajia, jotka koostuvat 40 familiasta ja 112 lajista. [1] Merkittäviä yksilöitä ovat Pinus merkusii, mänty, jonka tiedetään olevan yli 30 metriä korkea ja joka kasvaa vain korkeilla korkeuksilla. Vuonna 1965 puisto perustettiin noin 10 hehtaarin kokoiseksi, mutta se on laajentunut 590 hehtaariin, joka ulottuu Dago Pakarista Maribayaan. [2] Nykyisin sitä hallinnoi Länsi-Jaavan maakuntahallituksen metsähallinto (aiemmin Perum Perhutanin alaisuudessa).
