The Pier Hotel, sited on the waterfront at Kaikoura, in New Zealand's South Island; a classic “Kiwi” country pub. The site is superb and undoubtedly the best outlook in Kaikoura, with panoramic vistas of the Kaikoura Ranges and sweeping views of Ingals’ Bay from the bar, balcony and restaurant. The Pier Hotel offers comfortable, convenient accommodation at special rates for business or recreational groups, and is ideally placed for corporate retreats or small meetings. It offers 10 guest rooms & the rooms have recently been refurbished along with that it can offer groups two meeting rooms.

A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
