Das InterContinental Yokohama Grand erhebt sich wie eine elegante Segelyacht über dem verwandelten Stadtzentrum. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Yokohama Cosmo World, fünf Einkaufszentren, das Yokohama Museum of Art, das historische Red Brick Warehouse und der Yamashita Park sind leicht zu erreichen. Eine Fahrt wert sind Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise und der Yokohama Zoo. Es gibt 14 Tagungsräume mit Platz für max. 760 Personen bei Theaterbestuhlung, 460 Unterrichtsräume, 700 Personen an der Rezeption und 430 im Bankettstil. Der Ballsaal ist 36 m x 20 m groß und hat eine Deckenhöhe von 6,8 m und bietet Platz für bis zu 700 Gäste im Empfangsstil.
