Tucked in the cultural heart of Kathmandu, Hotel Yak & Yeti opened its doors on September 27, 1977, as Nepal’s first five-star hotel. What began as a heritage haven with 120 exquisitely designed rooms has since blossomed into a distinguished retreat of 241 rooms and suites, marrying classical grandeur with modern indulgence. Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult. Inspired by BB King’s killer horn section, Kevin began honing his skills playing the blues.
