Helona Resort, on the southern coast of Kos island in Greece, sits on a gentle hill, with panoramic view to the blue Aegean Sea and direct access to the beautiful sandy Helona Beach. This inviting Greek resort hotel is only 15 minutes south of Kos Island "Hippocrates" International Airport (KGS) and offers a delightful collection of 238 guest rooms, 3 Suites with private pool, 3 Villas with private pool, 12 Family Rooms, 50 Single Rooms, 170 Double Rooms, set among beautifully landscaped gardens. Helona Resort has a modern Conference Center with three (3) interconnecting Meeting Rooms (total capacity up to 700 people) plus an exhibition area. The exhibition area and two of the meeting rooms have daylight. The Conference Center is located on the ground floor and offers state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. A Business Center is located near the Conference Area.

The Asclepeion is named after the ancient god of Medicine, Asclepeios. It is considered as the greatest health institution of the ancient times and is a site of special interest and significance for the members of the medical community worldwide. Many international medical and pharmaceutical conferences take place in Kos because of the Akslepeion. Doctors can attend a special ceremony where they "renew" their Hippocratic Oath. Furthermore, the Akslepeion is a place of unparalel natural beauty. It is four kilometers off Kos town, with a breath-taking view to the Aegean sea.
