The Tognon family will be happy to host guests in Rima and offer an environment-friendly stay in a natural heritage site deserving to be discovered. The love and passion for nature and the environment induced the Tognon Family to imagine a small oasis of peace in a magical place, the little village of Rima, down in the Valsesia valley. Here, the sound of a waterfall, the breath of the wind, and the falling snow are the only sounds breaking the enjoyable stillness. Here our guests may watch the sunset with the sun slowly falling behind the mountains. To stay at the Laida Weg Experience Hotel means to spend some days far from the chaos of towns and cities, and to reward oneself enjoying the flow of time and the attention and smiles that our staff and Elena, the Lady of the House, will devote to you.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
