Old Courthouse heralds a new beginning for the promotion of arts and cultural activity within the Borough of Antrim. An important element of the building work was the creation of a new multipurpose auditorium to host a range of performing arts events on a year round basis. The multi-purpose auditorium located on the first floor provides a flexible space that features a retractable seating system, so the space can be adapted for specific user requirements ranging from Boardroom and Cabaret style events accommodating up to 70 people to a full Theatre format with tiered seating for 188. Weddings have also become very popular with up to 130 guests being accommodated.
