At Acquapartita, in the middle of pinewoods on the Appeninnes running between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, lies the homonymous lake, on the shores of which stands the Miramonti Hotel. A few kilometres away, in the ancient village of Bagno di Romagna, water from hot springs is conveyed to thermal spas and beauty centres. The unspoilt nature of incredible beauty, the fresh air loaded with pine essence from the woods nearby and the thermal waters rich in active principles guarantee therapeutic benefits and allow for the body and mind total regeneration. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

The Miramonti Hotel panoramic restaurant, with terrace and view on the lake, is well-known for the high quality cuisine it offers, capable of satisfying the most demanding palates. Our Chef captures the flavours and the freshness of the local, genuine ingredients to prepare the most palatable dishes based on traditional recipes. Fruits and vegetables come from the nearby organic farm belonging to the Batani Family and confer each culinary creation of the Chef a genuine and wholesome taste. Fish lovers will appreciate instead the numerous proposals stolen from the sailors’ culinary tradition. For groups, the Miramonti Hotel Chef has concocted special proposals with ad hoc menus for business lunches, banquets or gala dinners in a comfortable and inviting setting. The conference room can hold up to 150 people and is ideal for company meeting, conventions and seminars.
