The Costa Doria Hotel is the perfect setting for your stay in Castelsardo, an old and enchanting little town in Northern Sardinia. With a history that stretches back more than 900 years, Castelsardo is a fascinating medieval place whose original structure is still unusually well-preserved and extremely well-maintained. The hotel is around 100 m from the beach which, typically for this section of the coast, nestles between rocky reefs. The town centre is 3 km away. We can offer you outstanding cuisine, comfortable rooms, an adjoining beach with special terms for our guests – and we also provide you with other amenities so that you are sure to enjoy your stay with us. As a pleasant alternative to the beach, our guests have access to a swimming pool and an extensive terrace with sun beds, easy chairs, deckchairs and sunshades. Hotel has 70 rooms completely renovated and decorated with care and elegance, some with balcony and sea view.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
