The Gateway Science Museum on the California State University-Chico campus was created as a means to educate people on the regional environment through user-friendly presentations. It mounts revolving exhibits, and the building itself has five different eco-regions surrounding it. Cross the street to Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park to tour the former home of a prominent American couple.
