Locanda Torriani's adventure began in 1985, lying concealed in the Medieval heart of Cremona, under the features of the restaurant Aquila Nera. A well-known name, that is synonym of a twenty-year-old experience, which allowed to explore different dimensions of refreshment (private, but also catering for events, conventions, ceremonies…) and to discover heterogeneous worlds, from culture to economy, thanks to the variety of our guests. The love for our job today continues with a new project, that is the expression of the creativity and renewal will, which has always followed our activity. In an ancient palace of the 600 century, poetically drawn up in the lanes that follow the pattern of Piazza del Duomo, it is situated our new space, which enriches our well-known offer of refreshment of a complete hospitality service. Ten residencesa at Locanda Torriani, are equipped with any comfort, guarantee the possibility of a special overnight stay, framed by the roofs of the historic centre, among which rises first of all the Torrazzo, which is the symbol of the city. Relax, comfort and good cuisine are wisely mixed together in the recipe of the Locanda Torriani, combining the love for the territory and its history with the most innovative international trends as regards to refreshment and hospitality.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
