In 1992, New York Offstage began, when founder, Bev Sambrotto, left her role as Assistant Director of Visitor Services at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her tenure at Lincoln Center gave her invaluable experience as a producer of refined cultural events. This experience included talent recruitment and coordination with world-class talent from Lincoln Center’s companies, cutting edge event planning and production for Fortune 500 corporations, and creative, interactive program content for patrons, and international travel and luxury group clients. New York Offstage flourished as the industry leader in these immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences showcasing New York’s cultural world. As the company grew it was evident that its services and business model could be copied in other leading cultural destinations and in 2007 the brand was renamed The Offstage Group. Until 2012 The Offstage Group served groups of all sizes. Wash and Wik is a soy wax candle company based in Orlando, FL, owned by husband-and-wife team Gary and Ariel. Gary and Ariel bring a wealth of industry expertise, having spent a combined 23 years with a major Marriott brand. Gary formally in both Sales and Meetings + Events before that, while Ariel served as Director of Beverage. Together, their deep insights and extensive experience make them true hospitality professionals. They specialize in premium soy wax candles, diffusers, room sprays, essential oils, and wax melts. Their products are available in boutiques across all 50 states, and they are also proud to be featured at a prominent location in Disney Springs. Each year, they produce around 50,000 units, with 85% of them being private-label or custom-branded for their partners. Ariel personally hand-blends every scent for their candles, diffusers, room sprays, and soaps, drawing on her expertise as a Certified Sommelier (yes, a professional "wine nerd") to create unique and captivating fragrances. She carefully selects and combines essential and fragrance oils from their trusted partners to ensure each scent is perfectly balanced. His dedication to quality earned him a decade-long partnership with the Military, providing nutritious lunches for recruits five days a week. Eager to expand his horizons, chef Daniel ventured into fine dining, collaborating with top-tier caterers and executive chefs. He later completed his degree in culinary arts, blending tradition with modern innovation—all while staying true to his foundational principle of using the freshest ingredients.
