Nestled between the buzzing glamour of Times Square and the up-and-coming Hudson Yards neighborhood, Arlo Midtown offers a modern mix of guest rooms, ample communal spaces encouraging innovation and connectivity, and an Italian-American restaurant and bar concept from the award-winning Gerber Group. The design was executed by Meyer Davis (1 Hotel South Beach, Four Seasons Houston, etc.), who focused on marrying natural and modern elements. Intricate lighting fixtures, sleek marble bar and table tops, and black metal accents pair with warm leather furnishings, nature-inspired pops of color, and a jaw-dropping nine-story atrium, which allows ample natural light and is framed by a custom wooden sculpture wall top the top of the atrium. The 489-room property moves away from Arlo SoHo and Aro NoMad's micro room format, offering a mix of room types for all types of travelers. Guests can choose from King Rooms and Double Double rooms with terraces overlooking the Hudson Yards, or opt for luxury with the Penthouse and Hospitality Suites, a first for Arlo. Guestrooms feature calming color palettes of blue and grey with brushed metal and leather accents. Modern amenities include bedside charging stations, flat screen TVs, backlit bathroom mirrors and exterior-facing "Do Not Disturb" buttons.
