The Hotel California is a traditional hotel located in a quiet residential area of Newquay in Cornwall. Overlooking the picturesque Gannel Estuary and Crantock beach, the Hotel California is just a 5 minute walk from Newquay's popular Fistral Beach, and set in an unrivalled location for your Holiday in Newquay, Cornwall Guests can relax with a drink and enjoy the stunning views from the sun terrace or try the menu at the California Bar and Grill. The hotel is a non-smoking building, with 68 bedrooms in total. The Gannel Suite boasts a king size bed with luxurious bedding and has one of the best views in the hotel. Ideal for special occasions or if you are just looking for that something special. We are licensed to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies, of either or both sexes. Our light and spacious Restaurant, which overlooks the Estuary, can cater for up to 200 people for a sit down Reception, and our smaller Pink Room is available should you require a small and intimate Wedding Ceremony. Our Entertainment Room has its own bar and dance floor, and is licensed for over 250, with a separate Buffet Room for those guests who may wish to escape for a little quiet.
