Barnsdale Lodge Hotel is positioned on the North shore of Rutland Water in the heart of the beautiful, unspoilt, county of Rutland, just a few minutes from the historic towns of Oakham, Oundle, Uppingham and Stamford. Barnsdale Lodge has 46 individually designed en-suite bedrooms ranging from singles, twins and doubles. The Hotel has four conference suites and private dining rooms to suit events from a handful of people up to 330, the main being; The Barn, Rutland Room, Rigate and Fort Henry Suite. Most are on the ground floor and have disabled facilities. Rutland Retreats are designed for privacy and with relaxed luxury in mind, Rutland Retreats us a collection on two and three-bed self-catering accommodations created using natural and sustainable materials with architectural detailing throughout.

Barnsdale Lodge Hotel's cancellation policy is when written notification is received for more than 48 hours before the date of commencement for your booking of accommodation, then no charge will be made. if no such notification is received in writing the full cost of the booking will be levied. Group booking of 5 rooms or more and conference/meeting rooms will require 1 months notice in writing and will be charged in fill unless we re-sell the room. Rutland Retreats - you may cancel your booking at any time. if you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible in writing. we shall refund you the following percentages of the total accommodation price, including extras (less a £30.00 administration charge) depending on the date we receive your request to cancel: a. cancellation more than 8 weeks before arrival - 100% b. cancellation between 8 weeks and 1 month before arrival - 50% c. cancellation less than one month before arrival - 0%
