Hotel Island offers refreshing accommodation just two kilometres from the city Centre. The hotel features 135 well-appointed rooms with many offering views of the mountain range that surrounds Reykjavik. Hotel Island is Iceland’s first dedicated wellness and healthcare hotel. Breakfast is served every day from 6:30am -10am. We offer full buffet breakfast. For guests, with breakfast included and departing early, the hotel grab and go options from 04:00 – 06:30 daily. Our restaurant, niu restaurant & bar, is a modern contemporary dining option within the hotel. Focus is on quality nutrition which is the foundation to well-being, generally using high-quality local ingredients. Open every day, starting each afternoon with our honest happy hour. For further information http://www.niu.is/ Our in-house Spa is the ultimate escape to help you balance your mind, body and soul. At the luxury spa, your comfort and well-being are essential. Enjoy a selection of rejuvenating treatments at the wellness centre or unwind in the spa in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The luxury Spa includes hot and cold tub, floating pool, sauna and relaxed and modern atmosphere. Open from 08-20 during week days and 16-20 during weekends. All our guests get complimentary access to our Fitness Room and those who are interested in Yoga Classes are welcome to sign up for open Yoga Classes during their stay. All information on the Yoga classes are provided at the reception at check in. We may offer private Yoga lessons if requested in time.

At our hotel and in our street there are complimentary parking space available for our hotel guests, the city bus stop is within 5 minute walk and all day excursions companies and airport transfers offer a pick up and drop off to our door. Our reception staff would be eager to assist with planning those activities with you and assist in making your stay a pleasant one.
