Jūrmala is the largest seaside resort in Latvia. This wonderful town is located on the shores of the Gulf of Riga of the Baltic Sea.
The sea water in Jūrmala is quite cool even in summer, but despite this, the resort attracts locals and tourists. It has a great climate and a cozy atmosphere.
Jūrmala has villages named after railway stations: Priedaine, Lielupe, Bulduri, Dzintari, Majori, Dubulti, Valteri, Jaundubulti, Pumpuri, Mielluži, Asari, Vaivari, Sloka, Kauguri, Jaunkemeri, Kemeri. All these areas of the resort stretch along the coast and form 32-kilometer beaches.
The central region and station of Jūrmala is Majori - one of the most popular and oldest streets in Jūrmala – Jomas and the legendary concert hall “Dzintari”.
In the summer on the beaches of Jūrmala are very lively: people swim, sunbathe, play active beach games. In autumn-spring periods, the beaches of Jūrmala are filled with hikers and cyclists.
At the entrance to Majori beach, guests are greeted by the famous sculpture “Big Turtle”, the main place of photo sessions for tourists.
On the southern border of Jūrmala lies the sandy coast of the Lielupe River, which attracts fishermen, as well as fans of rowing and sailing.
Several beach areas in Jūrmala are awarded an international Blue Flag award every year for the quality of water, safety conditions and the improvement of beaches.
The beach in the area of Pumpuri, which is located west of Maiori, is the best place for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The beaches of Kauguri and Vaivari are adapted for people with disabilities.
In Jūrmala, anyone will find a place and something to their liking and will have a great rest at any time of the year.

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
