The Hotel Hollweger is located at the heart of Austria in the scenic "Salzkammergut". It is surrounded by gardens and has a fantastic view over St Gilgen, Lake Wolfgang and the mountains. Right at the very heart of Europe, Lake Wolfgang and the surrounding mountains belong to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The hotel is to be found at the entrance to the village after the first set of traffic lights if you are approaching from Salzburg or Mondsee. Our 46 rooms (single and double rooms) and suites simply make you feel at home straight away as no two are exactly the same. Relax in peace and quiet and take the opportunity to have a great time. The modern, well-equipped seminar rooms and our personal service will ensure a successful seminar in a positive atmosphere.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
