Planning events is one of the things we do best at DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste. The hotel is equipped with 5 multifunctional conference rooms. The main meeting room of the hotel - Sala Adriatica - hosts up to 90 people, the ideal location for work meetings and private events. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

The hotel has 125 rooms including 25 suites, distinguished by the fusion of the splendid original decorations and design touches implemented thanks to the recent renovation. Some of the rooms boast historic details such as fireplaces and windows, all restored to their pristine charm and splendor. The Novecento Restaurant and the Berlam Coffee Tea & Cocktail, the hotel’s restaurant and bar on the first floor complete the whole and have been created in the historic spaces of the building, preserving the splendid frescoed ceilings, marbles and original decorations, and offer the chance to discover the flavors of the refined local and international cuisine. All dishes are made with high quality and local ingredients, accompanied with a wide selection of cocktails, spirits, artisanal beer, traditional desserts and little snacks.
