Baglio Santacroce stands between the sea of San Vito Lo Capo, the mountain of Erice and the countryside of Valderice, on a hill facing the Gulf of Cornino and Mount Cofano, immersed in the green nature of the province of Trapani. The Hotel covers an area of 35,000 m2, and is surrounded by a lush garden with agaves, olive trees and citrus trees and aromatic herbs. The 67 rooms of the ancient Baglio are very comfortable and have a perfectly conserved, rustic charm. In fact, the wooden beams and rustic, terracotta floors have been conserved using traditional techniques which have now almost died out, and the rooms are furnished with wrought iron beds, typical rugs from Erice and olive wood furniture. At Baglio Santacroce is possible to organize meetings, conferences, conventions, round-tables, seminars, meetings, workshops and parties of various kinds in one of the 3 meeting rooms.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
